Backlogr Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2025
Overview
Backlogr is a task-planning app. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Camera
We use the camera to scan QR codes so you can link your phone to the desktop app. Camera access is only used when you choose to scan a QR code. We do not store, transmit, or process any images from your camera beyond what is required for that flow.
Account & Sign-in
You can sign in with Google or email. We use Firebase Authentication. We store your email and display name to identify your account and sync your tasks.
Your Data
Tasks, lists, and chat messages are stored on our servers and associated with your account. We use this data to provide the app and sync across your devices.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication. If you use Pro AI features, we may send messages to Google Gemini or other AI providers. Stripe processes payments. See their respective privacy policies.
